UI/UX design for a better sleep.
Overview & Solution
Better Sleep. Better You. The goal was to propose an attractive, accessible feel and look and a therapeutic environment highlighting the app's goal - to create better sleep while comforting the user. The desaturated background color palette was paired with contrasting accents and typefaces to provide accessibility with a focus on mental health and calming the brain. A combination of easily readable typefaces, Router, and Inter, was carefully chosen for the inviting, soft, and cozy look and feel. The logo showcases a Mobius Strip illustration of the moon, paired with a wordmark based on Comfortaa, a rounded geometric sans-serif type that underscores the inviting environment of the app. Gradient illustrations and icons guide the user through therapeutic exercises.

Design Process
During the design process, I conducted secondary and primary UX research, including interviews with sleep researchers and individulas with sleep issues to better understand the needs of the end user as well as current clinical and therapeutic standards.
