Making science resonate—visually and digitally.
This role was all about turning complex scientific and clinical topics into clear, engaging, and fun content—without losing the rigor. At UC San Diego, I led creative marketing and communications for a major research institute focused on public health, aging, and inclusion. I collaborated with leading faculty, clinicians, and campus leadership to ensure our messaging was accessible, aligned, and visually impactful.
I managed web design and content strategy across a wide range of programs, reaching everyone from patients and caregivers to researchers and students.
I oversaw the transition to a new CMS, designed and improved clinical and research tools, and developed web-based UX/UI products like provider training platforms, therapy tools, and research applications. My creative direction shaped a highly successful UC TV video series, as well as popular newsletters and print/digital campaigns. I branded international events and conferences.
Working alongside some of the most respected voices in research (including UX) and medicine—people shaping the future of their fields—was both inspiring and humbling. I also had the chance to mentor many students and trainees, and learned just as much from them in the process.
